Side Windows & Middle Floor

The standard side windows in a 110 CSW are two piece sliding items that tend to rattle and leak. As I don’t intend to have seats in the back I decided to remove the glass and the associated hardwear and replace them with one piece of fixed glass.

The glass was cut to fit and I tinted it with 35% film before fitting it to the centre rib in the original frames. We weren’t sure how it would turn out, but the results are excellent, and I think this really freshens up the look of these windows.

The rivets will be hidden by a filler strip to keep things looking neat. You’ll notice that the powder coated chequer plate he also been fitted to the bottom of the tub, and one of the gloss black spats has been fitted in the wheel arch.

The floor section at the middle seats has also been fitted, again using stainless fasteners everywhere.
